Welcome to our class portal. We have many options for you to continue - or begin - a yoga practice. Please follow the links to find out more about how to sign up for and attend the type of classes that feel just right for you.

We also have a large library of recorded classes that you can practice "on-demand."

A Guide To Shine Classes & Class Levels


Our basic categories of classes, based on “fitness” level are listed and then followed by specific class suggestions with brief descriptions. See our MindBody scheduler to see specific class times, teacher bios, full class descriptions, and to sign up for classes.


  • Ground Floor Classes - Meditative and/Or Relaxing/Restorative Classes

  • Lobby Level - Gentle, Daily Function, Regenerative Movement Classes, Pre & Post-Natal

  • Level 1 - Beginner & Basic Posture-Based Yoga Classes: Slow Pace, Simple Transitions, Detailed & Supportive Instruction

  • Level 2* - These classes build on the basics with variations offered for students to work in a more gentle — or challenging — way in order to suit personal needs and goals. Classes build on basic postures, may include some slow flow, and may introduce more challenging posture and breath-work variations.

  • Level 3* - These classes include opportunities to build strength, flexibility, and other fitness aspects. They include our Align & Flow Classes and Intermediate/Advanced classes. These classes whether they include flow or not are likely to include the introduction & practice of inversions, arm-balances, and deeper variations of backbends, twists, and hip-openers.


  • *Level 2 and 3 classes are our fitness/athletic-level classes. These classes include a mix of posture, flow, and more traditional yoga practices like mindfulness and conscious breath engagement which help students build the components of fitness (like tone, balance, strength, etc) while practicing with traditional yoga themes (like harmony in movement, energy balance, skillful action, etc). We have several levels/styles of these types of classes so that students can come in to a class that serves your personal needs and goals whether you are just beginning yoga practice or are an experienced practitioner.

(G) Ground Floor Classes -  Meditative and/Or Relaxing/Restorative Classes

  • Restorative Yoga - This class is designed to help students relax deeply in order to release stress and tension which in turn restores the body, mind, and heart. 
    > Sundays 5-6 pm

  • Meditation - coming back soon!


(L) Lobby Level - Gentle, “Easy,” Daily Function, Regenerative Movement Classes, Pre & Post-Natal

  • YogaFio® Integral Core - This class helps students slow down, focus, and bring balance to the “true core” in order to support body comfort and function in daily life and in fitness/athletic activities. True core includes spine, pelvis, hips, and shoulders — along with your “abs.” Crunches are minimal in this class with a focus on more integral core exercises. This is a variable-level class. Students are guided to choose easy/harder options based on needs and goals.
    > Tuesdays 11:30 - 12:30.

  • Gentle Yoga for Joints & Spine - Orthopedic focus to improve spine and joint functiion. This is a very gentle practice but students should be able to get up and down off of the floor unassisted.
    > Thursdays 11:30 - 12:30

  • Gentle Yoga - Gentle physical yoga practice with a lot of traditional postures as well as some untraditional to yoga movements. Modifications and props may be used.
    > Thursdays 4:30 - 5:30.

  • Mommy & Me / Post-Natal Yoga
    > Wednesdays 11:30 - 12:30 (this class may change in May)

  • Yoga For Pregnancy (both pre and post-natal moms are welcome)
    > Saturdays noon - 1. (This may change in May.)


(L1) Beginner & Basic Posture-Based Yoga Classes: Slow Pace, Simple Transitions, Detailed & Supportive Instruction

  • New Beginners - this class is generally offered as a series class.
    > Currently New Beginners is offered Tuesdays in April 2023 from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m.

  • Basics & Beginners - Students are immersed in the fundamentals of Yoga. You will be instructed and supported in learning the process of proper alignment in the poses, breathing techniques, the use of props in your practice to build confidence in your yoga postures, as well as meditation and relaxation techniques. 
    > Currently offered: Mondays 11:30 - 12:30, Tuesdays 7 - 8:15 pm, (likely to come in May to Wednesdays from 6-7 pm - check back soon.)


(L2) Level 2* - Mixed Level & Progressive Classes (Increase Fitness Capacity)

(These classes offer variations for mixed levels as they build on yoga basics and fitness aspects.)

  • Mixed Level - Students are encouraged to build on the basics to improve strength, increase flexibility, and build stamina in standing, seated, and reclining poses. Supported inversions, backbends, basic arm balances, and gentle vinyasa may be introduced. New beginners are welcome but students with movement limitations should begin with one of our more gentle classes or a private session.
    > Currently offered: Mondays 6-7:15 pm, Wednesdays 9:30 - 10:45 (currently called Classic Yoga), Fridays 9:30 - 10:45, Saturdays 8:30 - 9:30 am

  • Align & Flow Level 1/2 - Good mix of postural alignment work with gentle flow & transitions. Variable level class.
    > Thursdays 10 - 11 am

  • Progressive Flow - Progressive Flow is a mixed level vinyasa flow practice. As most classes do at Shine, the class moves at a mindful pace in order to allow conscious movement and adaptations in posture to suit individual needs in the group setting. A sweet warm-up progresses towards variations of some of yoga's fun and challenging postures. 
    > Thursdays 5:45 - 7

  • Mindful Flow - This class works to enforce your yoga foundation and provide supported challenges within a steady flow. 
    > Mondays 9:30 - 10:45

  • Empowered & Embodied - Designed for advanced beginner through adept yogis (the class is not effective for new beginners unfamiliar with safe pose alignment). We explore a variety of practices to improve our awareness and wellbeing of our physical, mental, emotional, and intuitive systems of the body. The approaches are based on science, mindfulness principles, and experiential learning through slow movement, breathing and prana/qi flows, and perceiving our mental and emotional patterns. We practice easy to moderately difficult yoga poses, focused-attention meditations, deep breathing, psyche exercises, and more. 
    > Sundays 10:15 - 11:45


(L3) Level 3* - Our MOST physically challenging classes.

  • Align & Flow L2/3 - A progressive & variable mix of alignment work in held postures sequences and mindful vinyasa flow. We build on the basics and work actions that will support intermediate & advanced yoga postures like inversions, arm-balance variations, and deeper backbends & hip-openers.
    > Wednesdays 7:15 - 8:30 pm

  • “The Works!” / “The Deep-End” - Intermediate & advanced practices. With 90-minutes, we have time to work deeper into posture, vinyasa, yoga philosophy, and traditional yoga practices which may include meditation and pranayama practices.
    > Saturdays 10 - 11:30
