Class Series

Class series are presented to help students work in a more in-depth and sequential way. The pace is generally slower to help you learn techniques and tools to support your practices and lifestyle.

This October we are presenting:

Yoga for New Beginners

This class series is offered for brand new beginners, as well as, more experienced students are also welcome to attend these classes to practice the essential basics of yoga at a gentle pace. 

​

Fall Schedule Shifts

We do have quite a few teacher & time shifts plus some NEW classes!

New classes begin first week of October. Scroll down below workshop announcements for information about the new classes.

Teacher & Time Shift Tuesdays 9:30 - 10:45 - Intermediate / Advanced

Kate will act as a long-term sub for Wendy through the fall & winter. This class will remain as an Intermediate / Advanced class. This change will be posted on our MindBody schedule and will happen either the last week of Sept. or first weekend of October.

 

New Class !  Tuesdays 11:30 - 12:30 - "True Core" YogaFio® Fusion

Kate will be teaching a new format class in her new YogaFio® Fusion Method. Scroll down for more info.

 

New Class !  Tuesdays 5:45 - 6:45 - Series for Beginners / Back to Basics

We are still working on the exact dates for the series but we do know that it will take place sometime late September / early October. Stay tuned and tell your friends who are looking for a safe and comfortable space to get into (or back into) yoga practice. Sarah Gardocki will lead this course.

 

Teacher Shift  Wednesdays 9:30 - 10:45 (All Levels) Classic Yoga

Sarah Gardocki is taking over the Wednesday 9:30 Classic Yoga class for Teresa who will remain on as a sub but is taking a hiatus from teaching a regular weekly class.

 

New Class !  Wednesdays 11:30 am (new class begins October 5th

Sarah Gardocki is moving the Mommy* & Me class from Saturdays to Wednesdays.

 

New Series! 4-week Meditation Series Wednesdays 6-7pm

Kate is presenting a 4-week Meditation Series on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm from Oct. 5 - 26th. Most of our series are offered as "regular" classes that are threaded with a common and progressive theme but students are welcome to drop in and out throughout the series. Regular class prices apply. More info about class format posted below.

 

Time Shift Thursdays 5:45 - 7 Progressive Flow with Erin

 

Subbing Kate has extensive weekend travel coming up and Sara Haworth will be stepping in to cover the 10 - 11:30 class. Come enjoy Sara's kind and creative touch! Check MindBody schedule to see who's teaching each week for the next month or so.

This October we are presenting:

Yoga for New Beginners

Tuesdays in October from 5:45 - 6:45 pm

with Sarah Gardocki

This series is created for those looking for an easy and accessible entry or (re)entry to group yoga classes. We'll take our time in introducing and working through all the basics of yoga classes in a calm, casual, and kind manor. This class series is offered for brand new beginners, as well as, more experienced students are also welcome to attend these classes to practice the essential basics of yoga at a gentle and instructional pace.

A note on series classes: Both the New Beginner/Back to Basics Series Meditation Series are running as regular classes in a series format which means while they are formatted to build on each other, students can use regular class passes and may drop-in (with online registration) as your personal availability allows.

Meditation Series

Wednesdays in October from 6 - 7 pm

with Kate Noble

This meditation class series will introduce meditation, contemplation, and relaxation techniques to help students develop a personal meditation/relaxation practice. Based on Classic Yoga Meditation, the concepts of Pratyahara (mastery of the senses & mental fluctuations), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana ("floating"in the meditative state), Samadhi (entering the bliss state of deep soul release). 

 

Class format is as follows:

  • Gentle movement to prepare the body for comfortable sitting. 

  • Exploration of sitting postures to find a comfortable seat. (chairs are available)

  • Guided meditation exercises.

  • Time for quiet personal practice.

  • The last fifteen minutes are unguided. Yogis choice may include: continuing in seated quiet and unguided meditation, resting in suggested restorative yoga practices which may include props to make it even more delightful, journaling time, or students may leave for a shorter practice time to accommodate busy evening schedules if that may be the case.
